The head of the World Popular Organization for Jerusalem Justice and Peace Father Manuel Musallam has called on Palestinian Christians to organize massive demonstrations in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a press statement on Monday Musallam warned that the success of the Israeli plans to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque would lead to eliminating the existence of Christians and Muslims in Jerusalem.
Musallam called on Palestinian Christians and all citizens in historic Palestine to support Palestinian Muslims while defending Al-Aqsa asserting that protecting Al-Aqsa is tantamount to protecting the Holy Sepulcher and the Nativity churches.
He reiterated the importance of protecting the holy site from the Israeli desecration calling on all the Palestinians to intensify their presence in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque to foil the Israeli Judaization plots.
Earlier today hundreds of Jewish settlers protected by Israeli police broke into the Al-Aqsa in groups and provocatively performed Talmudic rituals in the courtyards of the holy site to mark Jewish holidays.
