Fayyad’s government excludes Hamas prisoners from allocations

Sunday 16-September-2007

GAZA (PIC)– Hamas cadres imprisoned in Israeli jails complained that the ministry of prisoners and ex-prisoners affairs affiliated with Fayyad’s unconstitutional government dispensed allowances allocated to buy food from prison cafeterias excluding Hamas cadres who make up a large segment of the Palestinian prisoners.

In a statement received by the PIC the prisoners said: “These actions prove the partisan position of the Ramallah government which opposes the truth and justice and deprives the Palestinian prisoners from their rights.”

In another context Hamas’s prisoners called for making the holy month of Ramadan a prelude to initiating a serious national dialogue based on the national accord document.

The prisoners appealed to the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nation to spare no efforts to restore the Palestinian national unity and to work on sparing Palestinian bloodshed calling on the Palestinian masses to support them through organizing marches and protests and through visiting their families.
