The father of Palestinian prisoner Mays Abu Ghosh from Qalandiya refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem has said that his daughter has been exposed to excruciating torture at the hands of Israeli interrogators in the Maskubiya detention center.
Abu Hussein told Asra Media Office that he and his wife had not recognized their daughter when they met her in the Maskubiya detention center several weeks after she got arrested adding that they was able to know their daughter when she smiled and talked.
He said that they were stunned to see her in such appalling condition which reflected the enormity of torture and suffering she had endured.
“The interrogators brought a tired and exhausted girl whose appearance spoke about the harsh days she had gone through and I got upset at the time and told the interrogators that she was not my daughter but she smiled at me and then I calmed down a little and my mind started to drown in questions about what she went through” Mays’s father explained.
The Israeli occupation forces kidnaped Mays Abu Ghosh a Birzeit University student last August.
