Israeli media sources revealed Friday morning that the wave of fire reached new areas in Israel as winds continue to rage since Tuesday.
Thousands of Israelis were evacuated as their houses were burned in Haifa the sources added.
Two Israeli firefighters were slightly injured while trying to put down the fires.
More than 75000 Israelis were evacuated from their homes in Haifa and 136 were treated for smoke inhalation.
Israeli Interior Ministry said today the situation in Haifa was “under control.”
However the Israeli authorities warned residents not to return to their homes until instructed to do so and called on those who had not yet left their homes to do so.
The blaze also reached Beit Meir settlement illegally built west of occupied Jerusalem Israeli police said pointing out that two suspects were arrested over allegations of “arson terror.”
As the fires continue to rage for the fourth day Israeli media outlets waged a racist campaign against Palestinians living within the Green Line especially those living in Haifa.
The wave of fire was exploited by media outlets to incite against Palestinians accusing them of being behind the arson attacks.
Earlier Thursday planes and staff members have arrived from Cyprus Italy Russia Croatia Greece and Turkey to aid in fighting the fire.
