Pilgrims from the blockaded Gaza Strip will fly back home from Saudi Arabia as of Sunday afternoon undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Religious Affairs Mahmoud al-Neirab said.
Al-Neirab said the first flight is to take off from Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport on way to Cairo Airport.
The last batch of Gaza pilgrims is expected to reach the enclave on Wednesday.
Al-Neirab added that efforts have been under full swing by the Gaza-based Religious Affairs Ministry to secure a safe journey back home for Gaza pilgrims.
