GAZA (PIC)– At least five Palestinian citizens including a child were martyred Wednesday morning in Gaza and Khan Younis cities after IOF tanks and airplanes bombarded a group of Palestinian fighters in the two areas.
Palestinian hospital sources confirmed the martyrdom of three Palestinian citizens of one family in the Shajaia suburb east of Gaza city when IOF tanks unleashed a number of their projectiles at a group of Palestinian fighters in that area.
The martyrs were identified as Ahmad Hillis Ali Hillis and the child Nafez Hillis. A fourth Palestinian martyr Dia Mohammed Abu Dakka 24 of the Islamic Jihad was killed while blocking IOF troops’ incursion into Khuza’a town east of Khan Younis city the sources added.
Another Islamic Jihad fighter Raed Fannona was also martyred and four others were wounded when Israeli apache choppers targeted his car with at least one rocket in Gaza city raising the number of the martyrs to five.
The Qassam Brigades’ snipers shot and directly hit an Israeli soldier on top of one of the advancing tanks as other QB fighters succeeded in knocking down an IOF bulldozer after they unleashed at least 15 mortar shells at IOF troops and armored vehicles.
Eyewitnesses in the area confirmed that at least 25 IOF armored vehicles advanced into Khuza’a town amidst intensive machinegun shooting and air cover by apache choppers before raiding and ransacking a number of Palestinian homes in the area.
The PIC obtained a copy of a military communiqué issued by the QB affirming they unleashed three RPG projectiles and a homemade anti-tank Al-Yassin rocket towards the advancing troops.
The Brigades warned the IOF troops of any military adventure into the Strip vowing to block any Israeli invasion attempt and to painfully hit back at IOF troops.
