The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested five Palestinians from Ramallah and Tubas in the West Bank at dawn Saturday.
Local sources reported that three youths were rounded up after IOF troops stormed Deir Jarir village east of Ramallah.
In Tubas two brothers were rounded up at the Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley.
The Israeli arrests came shortly after a Palestinian was shot dead after allegedly opening fire at Beit El illgal settlement adjacent to Ramallah. A Jewish settler was injured during the alleged attack.
