The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested five Palestinians in overnight raids across al-Khalil Tulkarem and Ramallah in the West Bank.
Local sources affirmed that an 18-year-old teen was detained in al-Khalil’s Old City while a boy was rounded up in Shweika suburb north of Tulkarem.
Two more youths were detained at Atara military checkpoint north of Ramallah.
Meanwhile a Palestinian boy was injured after being hit by a settler car in the Wadi Al-Husayn area east of al-Khalil.
Local activist Aref Jaber said that a settler from the Kiryat Arba illegal settlement ran over a 14-year-old Palestinian child.
The injured child was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
