Five Palestinian youths were injured and another was detained as clashes broke out in Nablus in the northern West Bank late on Sunday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided the city.
Local sources reported that the clashes erupted when the IOF stormed the Al-Dahiya neighborhood in Nablus and besieged a local house demanding its owner to surrender.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society affirmed that four Palestinians suffered from teargas inhalation while another young man suffered from rubber bullet injuries during the confrontations.
Another Palestinian was reportedly detained before Israeli forces withdrew from the area.
The detainee was later identified as Hamza Aziza who holds a blue ID and lives in Nablus and has no link with the Arin al-Osoud (Lion’s Den) armed group.
The Arin al-Osoud group for its part confirmed that no one of its members was detained.
In al-Khalil the IOF arrested an 18-year-old teen while crossing the electronic gate to reach his home in Tel Rumeida.
