The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Friday that 5 deaths 121 new cases of the coronavirus and 110 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said that the new infections were distributed as follows: Tubas 1 Salfit 1 Jenin 3 Jericho and the Al-Aghwar 1 Nablus 3 Tulkarem 1 al-Khalil 1 and Gaza Strip 108.
It confirmed that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.7 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The ministry pointed out that there are 9 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 2 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 51613 including 371706 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
