The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Tuesday that 5 deaths 465 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 1420 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that two deaths were recorded in the West Bank one in Jerusalem and two others in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 57 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 85 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 15 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.1 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the ministry underlined.
