The Palestinian health ministry on Sunday reported five new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 632 new positive tests and 341 recoveries in Palestinian areas including the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report two of the new COVID-19 victims are from Gaza (aged 36 and 55) another two from Bethlehem (both aged 67) and one from al-Khalil (aged 75).
31 critically ill patients have also been admitted to intensive care units and four of them have been placed on ventilators.
67.4 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 32 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.6 percent of the total cases.
33 of the recovered patients were recorded in Qalqilya province 99 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley 45 in al-Khalil 4 in Jenin 1 in Salfit and 159 in Jerusalem.
