Israeli court released Wednesday afternoon five of al-Aqsa Mosque’s security guards on bail and kept five others in prison.
According to the PIC reporter the court also denied the released guards’ access to the Mosque till April 4.
A fine of 2000 shekels was also imposed on each one of them.
Earlier Monday Israeli police arrested 11 security guards of the al-Aqsa compound after they aborted a stone-theft attempt by an Israeli archaeologist at the Mosque.
