A group of foreign activists on Thursday visited Yasser Arafat Square in Ramallah city where several ex-detainees have been holding a protest over their halted salaries for several days.
The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in the city said that foreigners visited the protesters in the square and listened to an explanation about their suffering from the recent decision that was taken by the PA to cut off their monthly payments.
The protesters have been holding their sit-in for about 19 consecutive days to demand the PA to backtrack on its step.
The PA security forces already dispersed the sit-in they had staged for over a week outside the cabinet headquarters in Ramallah.
