The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday detained four Palestinian citizens after they tried to infiltrate from the besieged Gaza Strip into Israel.
A spokesperson for the Israeli army said its forces arrested four Palestinians after they cut through the border fence and crossed into Israel.
He claimed that one of the detainees was found in possession of a knife.
In the last nine months 34 Gazans had been taken prisoners during their attempts to cross into Israel.
