Four Israeli soldiers were killed and 15 others were injured including 8 in serious conditions in an anti-occupation truck-ramming attack in Occupied Jerusalem on Sunday afternoon. The Palestinian attacker was shot dead by Israeli soldiers.
Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed that the attack was carried out by a truck which rammed into soldiers waiting at a bus stop on a popular promenade overlooking the walled Old City of Occupied Jerusalem. Four soldiers including three females were killed. The attacker was neutralized by soldiers Israeli police said.
Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of a young man from Jabel Mukaber a neighborhood in East Jerusalem without releasing his name.
Hamas Movement welcomed the anti-occupation operation and described it as a natural response to Israeli repeated crimes.
Hamas’s spokesman Abdullatif Qanoa called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem to escalate confrontation with Israeli soldiers and continue resistance attacks in defense of the Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people.
