KHAN YOUNIS (PIC)– Four Palestinian policemen were killed in an IOF air raid that targeted their position in Bani Suhaila east of Khan Younis district southern Gaza late Tuesday night while several others were wounded.

Medical sources told PIC correspondent that the mutilated bodies of the four policemen were almost beyond recognition noting that other policeman were injured in the bombing.

Witnesses said that the IOF missile blasted entrance of the building that was destroyed in the incident.

The IOF command claimed that the bombing targeted a position used for firing missiles at Israeli targets.

A spokesman for the Palestinian police feared that the number of martyrs might rise because the debris was not totally lifted yet.

The police adopted a series of measures to avert future heavy casualties mainly stipulating evacuating all positions and deploying the policemen in the vicinity of those positions in a disciplined manner.

Meanwhile angry Palestinian youths besieged the military hospital in Abasan Khan Younis district after the Ramallah government of Salam Fayyad ordered the doctors there not to treat the wounded or else their salaries would be severed and the medical staffers acquiesced to the demand.
