Four Palestinian children killed at the hands of unknown armed men

GAZA (PIC)–The intensive firing of unknown group of armed men in a speeding car killed four Palestinian children on Monday in Gaza city including three brothers locals reported.

Medical sources in the Shifa hospital said that gunmen chasing a speeding car were firing indiscriminately at an early hour Monday near a school which led to the killing of the three brothers: Osama 9 Salam 6 and Ahmed Bahaa Balosha 7 while a fourth Mahmoud Al-Habil 17 was killed in the same incident.

The medical sources said that four other children Lida Abu Obaida 6 Nasma Al-Awadi 6 Huda Al-Awadi 7 and Hussein Al-Ashram 15 were wounded in the same incident along with the 25-year-old Ayman Al-Ghool.

The PA interior ministry meanwhile announced that those who shot at the motorcade of interior minister Sa’eed Siyam on Sunday were caught by elements of the back-up force.

It said that five persons were arrested in the car that sped away after firing at the minister’s motorcade and added that they will be questioned on their motives and the party involved in the incident.

For its part the PA information ministry stressed in a statement on Sunday that any demonstrations should be disciplined and civilized.

Commenting on the unruly PA security elements who roamed the streets of Gaza city on Saturday and damaged public institutions the ministry also denounced those unruly elements’ assaults on two journalists while covering the event.
