BEIT LAHYA (PIC)– Four Palestinian children were wounded on Friday when a tank shell left over by the IOF troops exploded. The children were taken to hospital one of them in a critical condition.
Medical sources said that the wounded children whose ages range from 10 to 16 were transferred to the Kamal Odwan hospital for treatment and that they sustained shrapnel wounds all over their bodies.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the children were wounded as a result of the explosion of a left over tank shell close to the site of the former Jewish settlement of Dughit.
Medical sources also stated that one of the wounded children was taken to the Shifa hospital in Gaza city in a critical condition and was admitted immediately to intensive care.
