The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Saturday a number of Palestinian young men in the West Bank amid clashes in some areas.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in Sa’ir town northeast of al-Khalil.
In Nablus the IOF also kidnaped a young man after raiding his home in Tel village.
Two other young men residents of Nur Shams refugee camp in eastern Tulkarem were taken prisoners by Israeli soldiers as they were trying to cross through the Surra checkpoint near Nablus.
The IOF stormed at dawn al-Jalamah village in Jenin and set up a makeshift checkpoint on the Nablus-Jenin road particularly near al-Massoudiya village. No arrests have been reported.
Meanwhile violent clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces in al-Arroub refugee camp in northern al-Khalil after a nearby military watchtower was attacked with Molotov cocktails and firecrackers.
In east Jerusalem the Israeli occupation police closed the Qalandia checkpoint and put its forces on high alert after resistance fighters detonated an explosive device in the area.
