The Palestinian health ministry reported four deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 593 new positive tests and 3597 recoveries in the West Bank the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem during the period between August 21 and 28.
This came in a new COVID-19 situation report released on Sunday by the Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah.
According to the report one death and 184 of the new COVID-19 cases are from the West Bank while three deaths and 409 other cases are from Gaza.
During the reporting period 16 COVID-19 patients were admitted to hospitals and four of them were in critical condition receiving treatment in intensive care units.
