The Palestinian-Global Mental Health Network launched an international petition demanding the immediate release of the young Palestinian man Ahmad Manasra after six years of profound systematic abuse in an Israeli prison.
Approximately 430000 signatures have been recorded so far.
The Network asked all international colleagues in mental health and all persons of goodwill to sign the petition.
Under the title #FreeAhmadManasra the campaign aims to reach 500000 signatures.
Earlier Wednesday the Israeli occupation authorities postponed the hearing on Ahmad Manasra’s solitary confinement for the 3rd time till Aug 16 which means he will now enter his 8th month in solitary confinement.
