The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested several Palestinians during a large-scale raid campaign at dawn Monday and on Sunday evening.
Two young men were detained after IOF troops violently stormed their family houses in Rantis and Ni’lin towns in Ramallah.
Also in Ramallah a university student was rounded up in al-Mughir while a fourth was detained in Silwad.
Two other Palestinians were detained in al-Khalil including a journalist.
Three more arrests were carried out when clashes broke out early today in Duheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem.
Two Palestinians suffered gunshot injuries during the clashes.
Earlier on Sunday evening the IOF arrested five Palestinians in Masafer Yatta town south of al-Khalil.
Local activist Fouad Amour affirmed that five anti-settlement activists were detained after IOF stopped a car they were on board.
Five other youths were rounded up in Occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the Israeli police forces arrested a young man near “Bab Hatta” area one of the al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates while two other young men were rounded up in the Bab Al-Amoud area after being attacked by a group of settlers.
Two more arrests were reported in Al-Masara area in the occupied city.
Along the same line the Israeli intelligence services summoned the young man Majd Halasa for investigation upon his release after 26 months in Israeli jails.
Meanwhile the Jerusalemite female activist Hanadi Al-Halawani was denied access to al-Aqsa Mosque for six more months.
Halawani is one of several Palestinian women who have been repeatedly barred from entering the al-Aqsa Mosque compound by Israeli authorities under flimsy pretexts.
