Israeli warplanes last night bombed different sites in the Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that a warplane fired several missiles at al-Qadisiyah site in the west of Khan Yunis south of Gaza adding that a huge explosion resulted from the airstrike.
He also said that another aerial attack targeted a swath of agricultural land in al-Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses said that resistance fighters responded by firing anti-aircraft guns at the warplanes.
The Israeli occupation army claimed its air forces targeted a weapons production facility and a tunnel entrance belonging to Hamas in Gaza adding that the airstrikes were in response to the launch of incendiary balloons into Israeli territory.
Last Sunday Israeli airstrikes targeted two resistance sites in Gaza.
