Gaza Interior Ministry was informed on Sunday by the Egyptian authorities that the Rafah crossing will be closed on Monday in both directions.
“The Rafah crossing will be closed tomorrow Monday the 25th of April as it is an official holiday in Egypt” according to the General Authority for Crossings and Borders.
The Rafah border crossing the sole crossing point between Egypt and the Gaza Strip is also the only point of entry or exit of the enclave with the outside world.
