The Palestinian resistance factions have called for escalating the “heroic operations” in the occupied territories against Israeli forces and settlers until the removal of the Israeli occupation from the entire Palestinian land.
This came in a joint statement released by the factions following their regular meeting on Tuesday in the Gaza Strip.
The factions paid tribute to the Palestinian people’s “martyrs and their valiant resistance in Gaza and the West Bank for retaliating for the Israeli aggression against their people and teaching the occupation state an important lesson on the cohesion of the resistance arenas.”
The factions held the occupation state fully responsible for the consequences of its ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people stressing that “the resistance performs its duty and role in fending off aggression and stop the occupation from persisting in shedding the Palestinian blood.”
They also reiterated their strong solidarity with the hunger-striking prisoners in Israeli jails especially prisoner Khalil Awawdeh.
Finally the factions urged the Arab and Muslim nations to shoulder their responsibilities and contribute to defending and supporting Jerusalem the Aqsa Mosque the Palestinian people and their national cause against the Israeli occupation.
