The Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip have warned that the Israeli occupation state would pay dearly for its ongoing crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
This came during a sit-in staged on Wednesday by the factions in Gaza in solidarity with the Sheikh Jarrah families who are exposed to daily assaults by Israeli police forces and settlers and threatened with eviction from their homes.
“The settler government led by Naftali Bennett has neither understood the lesson from those who preceded it nor realized that our people have the ability to impose rules of engagement in a way that achieves the higher national interest” senior official of Palestinian Democratic Union Amer al-Jaab said in a speech on behalf of the factions.
“The dignity of our people is connected with their adherence to their land and holy sites and we will never leave our compatriots in Jerusalem alone” Jaab added.
