Gaza: New round of Israeli airstrikes rock different areas

Monday 13-September-2021

The Israeli occupation army at dawn Monday waged renewed aerial attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that a warplane bombed a resistance site in the east of Rafah area south of Gaza.

He added that another airstrike targeted a resistance site in the north of Gaza while gunboats opened intensive machinegun fire at the northern shores and beaches of Gaza.

A resistance site in the east of Khan Yunis was also attacked with multiple air-to-surface missiles.

PIC reporters said that resistance fighters responded by firing anti-aircraft guns at the warplanes.

Meanwhile a PIC reporter in Khan Yunis said that a warplane bombed a site belonging to the naval forces in the west of the City.

He added that huge explosions happened during the air raids which caused material damage to the bombed sites and nearby civilian property.

In another incident four Israeli army bulldozers infiltrated on Monday morning into a border area in the north of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and embarked on digging and leveling swaths of land.

In recent days the Israeli army also waged many air raids on different areas of Gaza claiming they were in response to rocket attacks and a number of fires in Israeli territory that resulted from incendiary balloons from Gaza.
