Israeli authorities allowed 48 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to visit their relatives held in Israeli Nafha prison on Tuesday.
Spokeswoman for the Red Cross Suhair Zaqout confirmed that the Committee has organized a visit for the Gaza prisoners’ families.
48 relatives of 26 prisoners packed into buses organized by the Red Cross and headed to the Nafha desert prison through the Israel-controlled Erez crossing in the northern Gaza Strip the Red Cross spokeswoman clarified.
4650 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails including 30 women 180 children and 650 administrative detainees.
