A Palestinian fisherman was wounded on Wednesday morning when Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats in Gaza waters.
The Fishermen of Gaza Committee said that a fisherman named Ibrahim Abu Warda 23 suffered rubber bullet injuries when Israeli gunboats attacked a group of Palestinian fishermen off northern Gaza’s shore.
Abu Warda who was shot in the arm and leg was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Israeli naval forces regularly harass Palestinian fishermen in Gaza waters by shooting at them arresting them seizing their fishing boats and restricting their activity.
