The Palestinian energy and natural resources authority in the Gaza Strip on Saturday decided to operate the third turbine at the power station to compensate for the electricity supply shortage after Egypt’s cross-border lines ran into trouble again.
According to the electricity distribution company in Gaza there will be no change in the daily power supply program after running the power plant’s third turbine.
Therefore the population will continue to receive power for four hours following every 12 hours of blackout the distribution company affirmed.
