Dozens of Palestinian women and children rallied on Wednesday in al-Sheikh Hamad city in the blockaded Gaza Strip to protest the blockade imposed on Qatar.
The rally-goers raised the Palestinian and Qatari flags and lifted banners condemning the blockade enforced by three Gulf states on Qatar.
Activist Umm Bilal hailed Qatar’s pro-Palestine efforts and reconstruction projects in the besieged coastal enclave of Gaza including Hamad City which houses hundreds of homeless Gazan families.
The activist denounced the conspiracy weaved against Qatar under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
“Qatar has stood in the face of the Israeli terrorism against the people of Gaza” she added. “The blockade on Qatar will serve Israel’s interests.”

According to Umm Bilal the Qatari charities blacklisted as terrorist organizations only provide relief services to the needy and poor people.
She called on the Muslim scholars and leaders to urgently work on lifting the blockade on Qatar and to boycott the US administration which works on “severing the ties that link the nation together.”
Disabled Gazan Iman Abu Sbeiha expressed her shock over the blockade on Qatar. “Wake up Arabs! We make part of the same nation! Qatar has stood by Gaza and the Palestinian people! It has never been a source of terrorism.”
As of Monday a boycott was launched by Saudi Arabia the UAE Bahrain and Egypt against Qatar. The four countries ordered Qatari nationals to leave their territories under the pretext that Qatar is supporting “terrorist organizations” and sheltering members of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
