A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army said that soldiers arrested on Friday night a Palestinian near the border fence in the south of the Gaza Strip.
In a brief statement on Saturday morning the army spokesperson claimed that the Palestinian was found in possession of a knife.
The IOF had already arrested many Palestinian citizens during similar attempts to infiltrate into Israel through the border fence. Human rights reports said that many of those attempts were made by young men who wanted to look for jobs in Israel.
In some incidents the IOF opened fire at such citizens injuring and even killing a number of them.
