Palestinians have staged a general strike in the West Bank on Wednesday in protest to the Tuesday’s assassination of three Palestinian youths by Israeli special forces.
The general strike was observed in main West Bank cities such as Nablus Ramallah Jenin Tulkaram and al-Bireh.
Palestinian national forces jointly called for escalating protests against Israeli occupation forces and settlers’ crimes.
The Palestinian Students’ Association and the Palestinian Youth Movement also called for cancelling classes to take part in mourning ceremonies held in commemoration of the martyrs.
Meanwhile a large number of mourners have attended the funeral of the three martyrs who were laid to rest in Nablus late on Tuesday.
The participants chanted slogans in support of Palestinian resistance calling for revenge.
Earlier Tuesday the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that IOF soldiers have killed three Palestinians in Nablus.
“Three citizens were martyred as a result of direct shooting by Israeli forces in the city of Nablus” the ministry said in a statement.
