A general strike was declared on Tuesday morning across the West Bank in mourning for three Palestinian young men who were murdered earlier in the day by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Nablus City.
Businesses and different facilities observed the strike and shut down their doors in Nablus al-Khalil Tulkarem Jenin Qalqilya Bethlehem Ramallah Salfit and Tubas.
In Ramallah protesters marched in the city streets before going to the northern area of the city where they clashed with Israeli soldiers guarding a military checkpoint.
Similar clashes with the IOF also took place in different areas of the West Bank including Tulkarem Nablus and al-Khalil.
Several West Bank young men reportedly suffered injuries during their skirmishes with the IOF.
