Girl among 4 Palestinians injured by Israel army at Gaza border march

A number of Palestinians sustained injuries on Sunday after the Israeli army quelled the Great March of Return protests staged along Gaza borders.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said four Palestinians were left injured three among them east of Gaza and another east of Jabaliya as they joined the Great March of Return rallies.

Two protesters including a girl were seriously injured.

The ministry said 26-year-old Alaa al-Sawafiri was rushed to an intensive care unit at the Shifa Medical Complex identifying her condition as critical.

On March 30 Palestinians have been peacefully rallying at Gaza’s eastern borders speaking up for the refugees’ right to return to their homeland.

At least 55 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on the Great March of Return protesters including 7 children two journalists and two persons with disabilities. Six casualties have had their bodies withheld by the occupation authorities.
