New delegations from the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority (PA) government arrived on Monday in the Gaza Strip through Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing.
The PIC reporter said that a delegation from the Fatah Revolutionary Council composed of four members and headed by Secretary General Majed al-Fatiani arrived in Gaza in a first visit since the signing of the reconciliation agreement on 12th October in Cairo.
A number of PA officials including the assistant undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Minister of Culture the head of Energy Authority and Minister of Communications and Information Technology in addition to the spokesman of Fatah Movement Osama al-Qawasmi also arrived in Gaza on Monday according to the PIC reporter.
These visits come within the framework of the efforts made to bring the reconciliation agreement signed in Cairo which provides for ending the division achieving national unity and handing over Gaza’s government institutions to the PA government into effect.
