The Israeli occupation army said that shots were fired near the West Bank settlement of Ofra on Thursday evening and troops were searching the area for gunmen.
According to Israeli news reports Israeli soldiers fired back at the shooting which allegedly came from the nearby village of Ein Yabrud.
However Israel’s Channel 7 said that the shooting targeted a bus stop in Ofra settlement.
Consequently a large number of Israeli troops stormed Ein Yabrud village east of Ramallah and blocked the entrances leading to Silwad town as well as Road 60.
