Human Right Defenders (HRD) in al-Khalil has expressed its rejection of Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s intended desecration of the Ibrahimi Mosque on Wednesday urging al-Khalil residents to express their anger at this visit.
In a press release HRD warned that Netanyahu’s visit to al-Khali is aimed at supporting settlers and giving the impression that al-Khalil is a Jewish city.
HRD called on all the native citizens of the Old City of al-Khalil al-Shuhada Street Tel Rumeida Wadi al-Husain Haret Jabera al-Salaymeh and Wadi al-Gharus to express their rejection of Netanyahu’s visit through raising Palestinian flags on rooftops of their homes.
