The Palestinian youth group Hirak Haifa has invited the Arab masses to participate in a demonstration to be staged on Sunday evening in Haifa city in solidarity with the embattled Gaza Strip.
The solidarity event is slated to take place at around 09:00 pm today in the Prisoner Square on Abu Nawas Street in the city.
A statement released by Hirak Haifa strongly denounced the “criminal” Israeli government and its army for tightening the inhumane blockade on Gaza attacking its citizens and killing them.
A spate of Israeli aerial attacks on Gaza yesterday claimed the lives of two children and injured many others. Israel claimed its air raids were launched in response to the injury of one Israeli soldier during Friday’s protest rallies on the Gaza border.
