The Israeli occupation authorities on Thursday ordered three Palestinian civilians to stop the construction of their family homes in al-Khalil’s southern town of al-Samou’ in the southern West Bank.
A PIC news correspondent said Israeli Civil Administration staff members escorted by military troops rolled into al-Samou’ town and handed over stop-construction notifications to Ibrahim al-Salamin Shahda Rizq and Ahmed al-Qawa’in.
The orders were issued under the guise of unlicensed construction.
The occupation authorities also threatened to turn the buildings under construction into mounds of rubble if the owners do not immediately halt construction works.
Israel rarely allows Palestinian construction across the occupied West Bank while it constantly builds thousands of settlement units for Israelis in the area which it plans to annex to its occupying entity.
