“The Great March of Return” and anti-siege campaign will keep going until the Palestinian land and holy sites are liberated from Israel’s grips Political Bureau member of Hamas Fathi Hamad said.
Speaking with the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) on the sidelines of events and rallies speaking up for refugees’ right of return in Khan Younis to the south of the blockaded Gaza Strip Hamad said the Palestinians will leave no stone unturned until their land and holy sites are retrieved from the Israeli occupation.
He acclaimed “The Great March of Return” which he said has brought the Palestinian cause to the forefront.
“The Palestinians will do whatever it takes to return to their native soil and break the Israeli siege” vowed Hamad. “We took it upon our shoulders to dismantle Trump’s and Netanyahu’s agenda.”
Thousands of Palestinians have taken to the streets near Gaza’s border fence since March 30 calling for rehabilitating the refugees’ right to return to their homes and villages from which they were forcibly displaced in 1948.
At least 32 Palestinian protesters have been pronounced dead and 3078 others injured 105 among them in critical conditions in clashes with the Israeli occupation forces along Gaza’s borderlands.
