The Hamas Movement has described Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas’s address to the UN General Assembly on Friday as “a reproduction of his political trajectory of confusion and failure.”
“The annual address Abbas delivered to the UN contained a clear and explicit recognition of his impotence and failure to make any achievement through the Oslo path that he is leading” Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said in press remarks on Saturday.
“His speech was weak and not up to the grave challenges facing the Palestinian cause” spokesman Barhoum underlined.
He affirmed that Abbas in his speech re-presented his usual begging program and his belief in the peace process and talks the two-state solution and the US role as means to resolve the conflict with the occupation state affirming that Abbas’s choices had proved failure for over 25 years.
