The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced Israel’s persistence in demolishing Palestinian homes after its forces demolished a house belonging to the family of Palestinian prisoner Qassam al-Barghouthi Kobar town in the occupied West Bank at dawn Monday.
In a press release Hamas described Israel demolition policy as “a clear reflection of the Israeli occupation’s failure to deter the Palestinian resistance and its fighters and prevent them from carrying out attrition operations against its settlement project in the West Bank.”
The Movement paid tribute to the family of prisoner Qassam al-Barghouthi for their steadfastness against all Israeli punitive practices that have targeted them since the Ein Bubin operation in Ramallah.
Hamas stressed the importance of protecting the popular incubator of the resistance in the West Bank as a top priority for the Palestinian people and the national factions warning the occupation state that it would pay dearly for its ongoing crimes against the families of prisoners and martyrs.
