Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri condemned on Monday the recent remarks by Jason Greenblatt the United States’ Middle East envoy saying the statements are a reflection of the US biased position.
Greenblatt slammed Hamas on Twitter Sunday night claiming Hamas hides improvised explosive device to attack Israeli soldiers and is shooting rockets at Israel again.
Abu Zuhri said Greenblatt turns blind eyes to the leading sources of the tension which are Israel’s crimes and blockade against the Palestinian people.
Greenblatt’s biased statement comes at a time when the Israeli occupation army has targeted the blockaded Gaza Strip with missiles and machinegun fire leading at least to two deaths so far.
