Hamas: Invitations extended by Arab leaders to Netanyahu shameful

Friday 23-November-2018

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri strongly condemned the invitations extended by a number of Arab leaders to the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu dubbing them a stab in the back of the Palestinian people.

In a tweet posted on Friday Abu Zuhri slammed what he called “the scramble for Israel” saying the Israeli occupation will forever remain the nation’s enemy.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to visit Bahrain “soon” his office announced ON Friday.

“The Kingdom of Bahrain is the next destination for Netanyahu” a spokesman for the Prime Minister’s office for Arab media told the Israeli Broadcast Authority.

“This visit is only a prelude for something bigger for another Middle East” he said.

“Israel sees the Arab world is large diverse and has rich human potential and it wants to establish great relations with it at the scientific and academic level” he added.

On Oct. 26 Netanyahu visited Oman upon an invitation by Sultan Qaboos bin Said the first visit of its kind for an Israeli official in 22 years sparking widespread anger and condemnation.
