The Hamas Movement has warned the Israeli occupation state of dire consequences if it persists in its violations at the Aqsa Mosque and its aggressive practices against Islamic Awqaf officials and employees in the holy city.
In a statement Hamas spokesman Mohamed Hamada described the occupation authority’s persistence in persecuting arresting and banishing Aqsa Mosque officials and employees as “blatant aggression” and “interference in the Mosque’s affairs.”
Spokesman Hamada also condemned the repeated Israeli attempts to obstruct maintenance and restoration works at the Aqsa Mosque’s premises.
He called on the Jerusalemite people to frequent the Aqsa Mosque and protect it against Israeli violations.
