The Hamas Movement has said that Israel’s recent demolition and displacement campaign in the impoverished Bedouin community of Hemsa al-Foqa in the northern Jordan Valley is a crime that entails international accountability and punishment.
In press remarks Hamas warned that Israel’s escalation of its demolition campaigns in the Jordan Valley is aimed at emptying the region of its local residents in order to pave the way for more settlement projects.
It also accused the Israeli government of implementing its annexation plans in the West Bank on the ground through carrying out such campaigns.
The Movement called for launching a national strategy that adopts all forms of resistance against the Israeli occupation to protect the Palestinian lands and thwart its annexation plans.
