Hamas condemned on Monday the flagrant Israeli aggression on Syria which it said proves that the Israeli occupation is the arch foe of the Arab and Muslim nations.
Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanoa said the strike is another proof that the Israeli occupation poses a serious threat to the nation’s unity.
All parties should take urgent action to curtail such a danger and join efforts to get over their internal crises” he said “Unity is the key to thwarting all Israeli schemes.”
The Israeli occupation forces at daybreak Monday said an overnight operation targeted the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as well as Syrian air defenses.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning during his visit to Chad on Sunday.
“We have a set policy to target the Iranian entrenchment in Syria and to harm whoever tried to harm us” he said.
