NABLUS (PIC)– Hamas MP Mona Mansour has called for the PLC to play its full role in the Palestinian political life expressing dissatisfaction with its current performance.
She said in a press release “We have to ask ourselves who is trying to obstruct and foil work of the PLC and why”.
The lawmaker charged that members of the PLC who were democratically elected were the target of ferocious campaigns at the hand the IOA and others.
She recalled the arbitrary kidnap of 42 PLC deputies including speaker Dr. Aziz Dwaik and secretary Dr. Mohammed Al-Ramahi at the hands of IOF troops other than the repeated attacks on the PLC headquarters and offices of the Hamas-affiliated MPs at the hands of unruly elements in a bid to obstruct its sessions.
Mansour said that national unity was a must in order to elevate the PLC’s performance demanding the immediate release of all detained MPs from Israeli occupation jails in order to return the Palestinian parliamentary life to its normal course.
